Parade of Trees 2023

Would you like to participate in this year's Parade of Trees at the Pratt House Museum?
Continue reading to find out how...

All area schools, organizations, and businesses are invited to participate by decorating an artificial tree of your choosing for display at the Pratt House Museum. Decorations (handmade by you) are limited only by your imagination and inventiveness! (No tree lights, please.)

Visitors at the Pratt House during the parade of trees will choose the winners by casting their ballots for their favorite tree in each category:

Adult | Youth | Children | Business

Trees can be set up and decorated at the Pratt House on Monday, November 13 through Friday, November 17, 2023. While we like to limit the “set up” time from 9am until 2pm, we will do our best to accommodate you if another time is needed.

Upon request, IF needed, we will be available on Saturday, Nov.18 for set up from noon until 2pm. Please, we must know in advance for anyone to be here at the house.

More information can be found at the links provided to the right.

Please note that only non-profit organizations are eligible for cash prizes.

OUR MISSION
The organization, established in 1979, is dedicated to the preservation of the history of Fulton and the adjacent towns of Granby and Volney.  This mission will be approached in the following ways:
1.  Acquire and preserve significant artifacts, publications, and other archival material of local interest.
2.  Maintain as much of the historical integrity of the Pratt House as possible, while leaving space for historical exhibits.
3.  Provide historical and genealogical resources for researchers and interested members of the general public.
4.  Develop and provide community outreach programs.
